United Nations Children's Fund
is organizing a two-day training workshop in the Sultanate for developing
communication strategy for sustainable practices and social development.
The participants were introduced
to UNICEF’s communication for Development (C4D) concepts, theories and ethics
and steps in increasing a communication policy for sustainable practices and
social growth.C4D strategy is one of the most empowering method of improving healthiness,
nourishment and further key social outcomes for children and families.
UNICEF defined C4D as a
systematic, planned and evidence-based planned procedure to support positive
and assessable individual behaviour and social change that is an integral part
of development programmes, policy advocacy and humanitarian job.
